Using Emoji Algebra

Emoji Algebra is a free, noncommercial educational game for practicing algebra in a browser. By using the site, you agree to these terms.

If a parent, guardian, teacher, school, or local rule says you need permission to use online services, get that permission first.

What you can do

• Play the built-in puzzles
• Create challenge links with the builder
• Share challenge links for personal, classroom, or educational use
• Use the site without creating an account

What you cannot do

• Attack, overload, scrape, or try to bypass the site's limits
• Try to access non-public service data or bypass limits
• Use challenge links to harass, mislead, or harm someone
• Copy or resell substantial parts of the site, its lessons, or its branding without permission

Challenge links

A challenge link is public to anyone who has the code or URL. Do not share a challenge link with someone if you do not want that person to open it.

By creating a challenge link, you give Emoji Algebra permission to store, host, reproduce, and display that puzzle so the link works for anyone who opens it.

Removing a challenge from your list removes it from this browser's local list. It does not delete the challenge or make an already shared link stop working.

No accounts or purchases

Emoji Algebra does not currently offer accounts, subscriptions, paid features, contests, prizes, or purchases.

Educational content

Emoji Algebra aims to provide useful practice, but it may contain mistakes or be unavailable at times. It is provided for educational practice, not as a promise of a learning outcome.

Emoji Algebra is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or reviewed by any school, teacher, or curriculum body, and it does not follow any official curriculum or standard.

Availability and changes

Emoji Algebra may change, suspend, remove, or stop parts of the service, including challenges or stored progress. The site may also block abusive traffic or requests that threaten the service.

Privacy

The Privacy Policy explains how Emoji Algebra handles browser storage, challenges, and analytics.

Disclaimer

Emoji Algebra is provided as is and as available. To the extent the law allows, Emoji Algebra disclaims warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, Emoji Algebra is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost progress, unavailable challenge links, or interruption of service.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use of Emoji Algebra after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Other terms

If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and the operator of Emoji Algebra.
